Anonymous Donor Provides Eight Bicycles to Club Members

An anonymous donor has provided 8 bicycles to be donated as Christmas gifts to lucky Club members this year.

When the bicycles showed up at the front door of the Miller Freedom Center last week, you could see the excitement in the kids’ eyes. There’s just something about childhood and bikes that go together and thanks to an anonymous donor, eight of our members will be able to experience the freedom and joy that only riding a bicycle can bring.

While at our Clubs, members have the opportunity to learn, set goals, grow, and meet new friends every day. Helping to ensure that they have something productive and healthy to do when they are at home is a side effect of this generous gift. We can’t wait to see these Club members riding their bikes and getting a little exercise when they aren’t busy with PowerHour or music lessons at the Club!
