Congratulations to September Youths of the Month!

Jerin Washington is a 7-year old 2nd grader at Southside Elementary School. This youngest of four siblings has been a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau since 2019. She loves coming to the Roberts Club and getting to learn new stuff and creating her own art. Jerin is an absolute joy for our Club staff who can always be counted on to remind her fellow members to keep their face masks on. A few of her favorite things: the color red, any book pertaining to unicorns, and basketball. We are so glad Jerin is a member and look forward to the awesome things she is going to do!

Brent Rogers has been a member since he was 6 years old. Now that he is in 4th grade at Emma Love, he has figured out his favorite places at the Miller Freedom Center: the Game Room and the Gym. That’s because Brent loves to play video games but he also likes to play soccer and football with his friends. Brent’s favorite singer is Cane Brown and his favorite school subject is math. When he isn’t at the Club, Brent loves going fishing and playing Xbox with his dad. The staff all rave about Brent’s helpfulness, great demeanor, and that they can always count on him to behave. Maybe we will see Brent on the soccer pitch or football field playing professionally soon!
