Congratulations to December Youths of the Month!

Demi Pollard is a 13-year old in the 8th grade at Fernandina Beach Middle School. Demi loves the Teen Room and hanging out with friends at the Miller Club. She’s been coming to the Club since she was six and the staff have loved to see her grow into the caring, bright, responsible young woman she is today. Demi’s commitment to doing her best and working her hardest make her a great role model for her fellow Club members. We can’t wait to see what’s instore for Demi in the future!

Ja’Sean Washington is a 12-year old 5th grader at Emma Love Hardee. He has been a member of Boys & Girls Clubs since 2016 and his favorite activities at the Roberts Club is to be outside playing sports. His favorite sport is football and he is a fan of Odell Beckham Jr. Ja’Sean really likes to com to the Club when there are school holidays so he can have extended time learning and having fun. While he’s passionate about sports, he also really enjoys Math, participating in STEM programs, and playing Fortnite. He’s a staff favorite because you can often find Ja’Sean helping out with organizing and cleaning at the Club. – he is the unofficial sports equipment manager!
