Congratulations to November Youths of the Month!

Gabriel “Gabe” Stapleton is in the 8th grade at Yulee Middle School who has been a member at Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau since 2017. Since turning 13, he is now able to make use of our coveted Teen Room at the Miller Freedom Center. This means Gabe gets to hang out with his friends, play video games, and hanging out in the Teen Room and Gym. His favorite subject at school is math and Gabe loves playing and watching football and basketball. Congratulations to Gabe for being chosen as Youth of the Month for being a great helper to the staff and being respected by his fellow teens.

Jennifer Tobar-Jimenez is in the 3rd grade at Emma Love Hardee. This 8-year old is a staff-favorite because she is never afraid to suggest ideas for group activities and has outstanding attendance. When she participated in the SMART Moves Program, she got the highest score, which came as no surprise to those who know her. She loves the STEM programs at the Roberts Club because she likes to use the computer to learn new things. When she isn’t reading her favorite book, Operation Frog Effect, she’s probably listening to Billie Eilish or practicing her gymnastics.
