BGCN Clubs Welcome Three New Board Members

The Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation is proud to announce the election of three new members: Sarah Edwards, Penny Glackin, and Pastor Darryl Bellar (pictured above left to right). This expansion of the Board will enhance diversity, provide new insights, and increase our ability to serve the children of Nassau County.

Sarah Edwards has most recently been working as a consultant with the Nassau Economic Development Board to update their Strategic Plan. Her previous experience includes several positions with The Coca-Cola Company spanning 1993-2018.

Penny Glackin joins the Board after most recently working with Take Stock in Children as the College Success Coach for over six years. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, Penny is on the School Advisory Council at Fernandina Beach High School, a licensed foster parent, and an avid photographer. Watch for her photos on our Instagram and Facebook pages.

Pastor Darryl Bellar is a Fernandina Beach High School alumnus (’83) and has been back in the area as Lead Pastor of The Journey Church since 2007. Pastor Darryl has been married for over 30 years, has two daughters and two grandchildren.

We welcome these new Board members and look forward to our continuing growth to reach all children who need us most in Nassau County.
